Often the subjects that fall into this category are the most fun to portray because the reference photo is already an artistic portrait in itself. A famous person, on a set or in other circumstances, is photographed by a professional who will try to make the most of certain characteristics and particularities. My challenge lies in the fact that the result of my work must not be a copy of that photo but an artistic and personal interpretation of it.
